Changes in the Near Future!

Hello!

Some of you will hopefully remember the days back when this blog was 'Robert Anthony's Chastity & Femdom Blog', before I moved to Fetblogger and before Google started threatening to shut down adult content blogs! Well, I'm excited to tell you that over the next little while (I'm not sure quite how long or how soon that might be because I haven't decided exactly how much work I'm willing to do transferring content from the current blog) this blog will once again become my main blog.

That doesn't mean my stories will be disappearing, they certainly won't and I very much hope to be adding more. But the site will be getting a new look, quite how different I'm not too sure as yet, again that depends on how things work out...

There are a number of reasons why I'm doing this, one of which is simply that perhaps because Google favours it's own blogs in search results I've never got close to having as many visitors as I should and as I did when my blog was here. Another is that with regulations popping up all the time about blogs etc, I know Google will put things in place like 'Cookie' warnings and I won't have to worry if they are they or not... and also if the UK does pass some kind of porn age restriction I think people will be happier about visiting my site if the platform is Google rather then a smaller company they may not have heard of.

Still, I am very grateful to Lady M, who set up Fetblogger in our hour of need (even if it was only about an hour before Google realised what a dumb move they were making) and I've had several good years on that platform. But with the closing of every other blog on the platform there was only me and Lady M still there and it makes sense that she can simplify her own commitments and be free to not worry about anyone else but her own blog and to close down Fetblogger eventually if she wants to.

At the same time, I feel like I have struggled to keep the blog going a bit this year, and I need some kind of renewal to reinvigorate my blogging, and I think a change of scenery might be a good way to motivate myself, which in turn could very well lead to some new stories as well.

I am so disappointed at the number of blogs I follow that have closed in the last couple of years and I don't want my blog to be another one that disappears, at the same time I have been absolutely amazed by the incredible number of views this blog has continued to enjoy, and all with just over 40 stories to read. Just yesterday I had nearly 700 views, on a site that has not been posted on this year - that is truly remarkable and I thank you all for your continued enthusiasm for my work. I hope you will enjoy the new blog, at worst you can always just continue to read the stories, but I hope you will enjoy the new content I will post and that we can all move forward together.

Robert Anthony
