The Awkwardness of Proofreading

Well, as you can see, last night I posted my story 'How to Break Your Man'. Which means that I endured the awkward discomfort of sitting next to Mistress while she kindly proof-read the story for me. Always a fun time. 🤣

As ever she gave very little away as far as what she thought of it all, and I didn't ask, because I'm not sure I even want to know... but she said it was 'good' and 'well done'. 

Of course, deep down I am dying to know what she REALLY thought of it, but I guess I should just be happy she wasn't appalled by it and leave it at that. 

She did add that it might cause some consternation in the comments section once it gets posted to Literotica, and there I think she's probably right. I mean I've posted it in the 'Fetish' section, so hopefully that will shield it from the worst of the 'Loving Wives' nutjobs, but I can still imagine there will be one or two nasty ones.

I said yesterday that the story was finished, but I did go back and add in a couple of short extra pieces today. Firstly I felt like there needed to be a brief description of the main character (Amy), I tend to avoid giving huge, detailed descriptions of my characters because I don't really think it's necessary and to be honest I'd rather the reader conjure up an image in their own mind.

The other thing I added was at the end, where Amy asks if Rick has 'more videos like that'. I really wanted to get across how intense and 'addictive' the video was/is (if you followed the link I posted then perhaps you get where I'm coming from?), but in the end I decided to leave the story as it was. I do touch on it throughout but it's perhaps not quite as obvious as I really wanted it to be.

But that's okay. 

Perhaps I will write a follow up where she watches the other videos Rick sends her...?
